This is the wedding with months of preparation, lots of planning and creating “mood books” and also ordering Polaroid Instax from the US.. finally on July the 7th 2012 Connan & Michelle | Wedding Day!
A Bride with a vintage eye for details and the little things in life.. marrying a guy with the most caring and humble attitude towards his bride. Believe me, any photographers dream.
On the 6th of July they flew me and my awesome sister/assistant/”the one who takes really good behind the scenes photos of me” to Durban! Yeay on the little Mango flight we go, full of hand luggage that consists of two bodies (Camera Bodies of course) a few lenses, the cool Wide-Angle and lots of SanDisks. Connans dad and brother picked us up, off we go to the most glamourous location ever, The Botha House. A House filled with whites and antiques, yes WHITES! Afternoon on the beach and then off to bed for one pretty wedding the next day!
The morning of the wedding, picnic feeling.. lots of ribbons and games setting up.. so exciting just thinking about it again! We started early because of all the little thing I don’t what to miss, and soon it was time to photograph the bride (Thumbs up for being so on time and relaxed Michelle). Natural and soft, just like her. I loved every second. The wedding on the beach, intimate and just as these two are… Special!
This is only Part 1, containing Bride Portraits, Groom Portraits and the Ceremony!
Enjoy xx
Michelle got a letter from Connan just before we did the veil shots… Great moment!
Part 2 : Couple Shoot, lots and lots of detail & Happy ceremony will be posted soon !!
